Towards a Theory of Morphology as Syntax
I'm wondering: is the quote from Baunaz & Lander intended (in the context of your paper) to be read as a strike against late-insertion based theories? I.e., is it your position that a theory that pairs form with meaning directly is preferable to one where that pairing emerges as an epiphenomenon?
