I have been in Botswana for over a year now. Even though I love Botswana, there are a certain number of things that I can do in NYC that I cannot do in Botswana, and I miss them.
Here is a small list (order not important):
Sitting on my balcony with a good book and a cup of tea.
Going to the Strand and picking up some fiction.
Walking down to China Town and getting Peking Duck.
Sitting on a bench in Washington Square Park in the evening and watching the performers.
Watching a Friday night Knicks game on TV with my wife.
Walking the streets of NYC and exploring.
Basking in the sun on the banks of the Hudson River.
Biking into Brooklyn on Sunday morning, when there is less traffic.
Singing at the EPP Church on Sunday in the Bronx.
Taking a fall color cruise on the Hudson River.
